Assignment #1

     The reason I'm taking this course is because I expect to learn a lot from this class. I wanted to take this class because I had a difficult time in Honors English and AP would've brought down my GPA. It seems like an ideal course because we get to do our assignments on our own blogs. I'm pretty good with technology so I'm excited to see what my blog looks like at the end of the year. This also makes me nervous, though, because it's different from other classes and I don't know what to expect. My goal for this class is the same for any other class. I want to get an A. I wanna get a better grades than I did last year. I also would like to get familiar with blogging because I've never done it before. I hope to gain better study habits and memorization techniques from this course. I am looking forward to this year.

     Richard Cory would never surprise an Open Source Learning network because the teachers and students would expect to see this in the poem. When we read it we see a man who people aspire to be. We didn't expect him to kill himself because he was so well-off. The moral of the story is to "never judge a book by its cover."
